Jun 23, 2016. #1. So, I went to autozon and picked up a marine kill switch for my big twin 69'. It does have the big red plug, electric start ignition. It's a four way terminal kill switch, with two of the points with the letter c next to each other, and two with the letter m next to them. The name of it is a valmar universal kill switch.There are six terminals on the back of the switch, and only five wires leading to it. I've figured out the battery (red) and choke (purple), but am not sure of the remaining three wires - a black, black/green, and yellow.
