Wanted to visit Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell, but was unimpressed with Carlsbad, NM hotel choices. We love historic hotels, whereas Hotel Artesia is not really a historic hotel, it is built in historic Art Deco style, and the price was reasonable, so we stayed here for two nights. This was a great decision and a wonderful stay!
